LIMPING AND LIVING

Kicking off the Year with a Limp
I rang in the new year in Mexico, soaking up the sun, sipping margaritas… and, unfortunately, returning home with a sprained ankle. Talk about starting the year off on the wrong foot—literally!
With 3 active children and a 3-level home, life became interesting real quick with limited mobility. However, after almost 3 months of wearing flats (I missed my heels) and an ankle wrap, I am happy to say I am no longer limited in my range of motion or activities!

Celebrations & Milestones
One of the highlights of Q1 was celebrating my best friend’s 40th birthday in true masquerade style. It was an honor to plan this party for her and it was a night filled with laughter, good vibes and fun times. As my own milestone birthday approaches, I am reminded how important it is to honor the accomplishments of the past, embrace the present and get excited about what’s ahead. The past 5 years have been filled with highs, lows, and a few unexpected plot twists. However, I have learned that when things get tough it is important to keep showing up and doing what’s best for you and those counting on you.

The Chaos of Parenthood
If there’s one thing parenting and real estate have in common, it’s unpredictability. I feel like my kids have been dealing with some type of symptom since cold and flu season started. In the past 2 months we have dealt with an ear infection, fevers, and even a six-hour ER visit. It’s been exhausting, but as any parent (or real estate agent) knows, challenges are just part of the journey and you just have to navigate them as they come.
“Ups and downs in life are very important to keep us going because a straight line, even in an ECG, means we are not alive.”
The Real
Life, like real estate, is full of ups and downs. There will be unexpected twists, stressful moments, and times when you feel like you’re just trying to keep up. But there will also be victories—big and small—worth celebrating. Whether you’re navigating a tough market or managing sick kids, resilience is key.
So, here’s to the rest of 2025—may it bring more wins, good health, and plenty of homes found and dreams realized!
